Not that I have anything against noodles, but I try to sneak in as many veggies as I can. One yummy way I’ve found to do this is to make spaghetti with spaghetti squash instead of pasta. Guess what, it’s SO GOOD!

I'm not a health expert but a sociology grad student with a deep interest in health, food, and how we organize our lives around the deceivingly simple question, "what should we eat?"
My goal here is to use this blog to record what I'm learning as I "dig to the root" of conventional "wisdom" about food, diet, and fitness.
